Day 1: Dehradun → Natin Village (Drive to Base Camp)
Distance: ~180 km
Travel Time: 6–7 Hours
The journey begins from Dehradun, one of the main gateways to the Garhwal mountains. The scenic drive passes through winding mountain roads, forested valleys, and charming Himalayan villages.
As the route climbs higher, travelers get beautiful views of the Bhagirathi River and surrounding mountain landscapes. The drive eventually reaches Natin Village, the starting point of the Dayara Bugyal Trek.
Natin is a peaceful mountain village surrounded by dense forests and high peaks. On clear days, trekkers can see the distant Gangotri Range and the towering Shrikanth Peak.
After arrival, trekkers check into a guesthouse or campsite. The evening includes a briefing session about the trek, safety guidelines, and preparation for the next day.

Day 2: Natin Village → Gui Campsite

Duration: 4–5 Hours

The trek officially begins from Natin Village with a gradual climb through dense forests filled with oak, pine, and rhododendron trees.
The trail winds through enchanting woodlands often referred to as silver and golden oak forests, creating a magical trekking atmosphere. The peaceful environment and fresh mountain air make this section of the trek relaxing and enjoyable.
After a steady ascent, trekkers reach Gui Campsite, a scenic clearing surrounded by forest and mountains. The campsite offers spectacular views of the distant Gangotri Range.
Trekkers spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings and watching a beautiful sunset over the mountains.

Day 3: Gui → Chelapada
Trek Distance: 3 km
Duration: 2–3 Hours
Altitude: 9,800 ft
This is a relatively short and easy trekking day, allowing trekkers to enjoy the natural beauty at a relaxed pace.
The trail continues gradually through forests before opening into beautiful clearings and alpine landscapes. The surroundings slowly start transitioning toward the famous meadows of Dayara Bugyal.
The trek eventually reaches Chelapada, a scenic campsite located near a flowing mountain stream. The peaceful setting makes it an ideal location to relax and acclimatize.
Trekkers can spend the afternoon exploring the nearby areas, relaxing in the meadows, or enjoying photography.
Overnight Stay: Campsite at Chelapada.
Day 4: Chelapada → Dayara Top → Nayata
Trek Distance: ~6 km (one way)
Duration: 6–7 Hours
Highest Altitude: 12,100 ft
This is the most exciting and rewarding day of the trek.
The trail climbs gradually from Chelapada toward the vast alpine meadows of Dayara Bugyal, one of the most beautiful high-altitude grasslands in India.
The expansive meadows stretch endlessly across rolling slopes, creating an incredible landscape that changes colors with the seasons. During winter, the entire meadow transforms into a snow-covered paradise.
At Dayara Top, trekkers are rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of surrounding Himalayan peaks including Bandarpoonch and the Dodital Range.
After spending time at the summit enjoying the views and taking photographs, the group descends toward Nayata, where the campsite is set for the night.

Day 5: Nayata → Natin Village
Trek Distance: 3.5 km
Duration: 2–3 Hours
After breakfast, the trek descends gradually through forests and scenic trails back toward Natin Village.
The descent offers beautiful views of mountain landscapes, forests, and valleys. Trekkers pass through the same charming trails that were explored earlier during the trek.
Upon reaching the village, trekkers can relax and celebrate the completion of the Dayara Bugyal Trek.

Day 6: Natin Village → Dehradun
Distance: ~180 km
Travel Time: 6–7 Hours
After breakfast, the return journey begins from Natin Village back to Dehradun.
The scenic drive follows the beautiful valley of the Bhagirathi River, passing through picturesque mountain landscapes and small Himalayan towns.
Trekkers usually reach Dehradun by evening, marking the end of a memorable trekking experience through the beautiful meadows of Dayara Bugyal.
